What Makes Me Accountable?

Three main things make you accountable and more likely to succeed in a group.

Achievement Goal Theory – This psychological theory says that we achieve better and are more determined to reach our goals when
working with others with a growth mindset. Where we all believe that we can achieve.

Sirota’s Three-factor Theory argues that we need camaraderie. (Which you can only get when working with other people).

Loss aversion is a cognitive bias that describes why, for individuals, the pain of losing is psychologically twice as powerful as the pleasure of gaining. The loss felt from money, or any other valuable object can feel worse than gaining that same thing.1 Loss aversion refers to an individual’s tendency to prefer avoiding losses to acquiring equivalent gains. Simply put, it’s better not to lose $20 than to find $20. That’s why we have the three-strikes rule.

Working the Body

The rules are simple, spend 28 Days where every day you must:-
1 – Walk 10,000 Steps
2 – Share and keep to your calories goals
3 – Work out every day – Share evidence.

We all mess up sometimes but consistency is king so, 3 Strikes and you’re out!!!

If you fail to post evidence or miss criteria on any day you take a strike. 3 Strikes and you’re out.

You can also plan your strikes by messaging the group about a night out or function.

Working the Mind

Every day you must also:-
1 – Share an achievement you made that day.
2 – Share something that you enjoyed.

3 – Talk about the connections you made that day.
4- Give a score for my day as a percentage and a brief comment.

Once a week there will be a video explaining what I want us to reflect on, for that week. We will all then comment on our reflections. To help us all to get to know ourselves and each other better.
